Here are the special features of Tu Van Pagoda (Seashell Pagoda):
Unique Architecture: The pagoda's entire walls, columns, towers, etc., are adorned with seashells, clams, and coral brought back by fishermen. This is why the pagoda is also known as the Seashell Pagoda (Chùa Ốc).
Bao Tich Stupa: Standing nearly 39 meters tall, it is recognized as the tallest Stupa in Vietnam (according to the Vietnam Book of Records). The exterior of the Stupa is covered with thousands of meticulously placed seashells and coral, creating a truly unique and eye-catching appearance.
"18 Levels of Hell" Tunnel: This tunnel is approximately 500 meters long, visually recreating the realms of Buddhist hell to remind people to live a virtuous life.
Serene Atmosphere: In addition to the special architectural works, the pagoda also features gardens, a pond, and Buddha statues, creating a sense of peace and tranquility for visitors.
